Offering Prayers Of Adoration
Part 1 - 1 Chronicles 29:10-13 (ESV) - Pastor Tim Kroeker
Revelation 4:11
“Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”
David had reached the end of his life. And what a remarkable life it was. From insignificant shepherd boy, to conquering warrior, to 40 years as the king of Israel, David could boast of unparalleled achievements. But as he gathered the nation together for the coronation of his son Solomon, King David prayed, revealing the secret to his success. Prayer is the means by which we commune with God, who is the only source of any and all spiritual power. Perhaps you’re a mom who wants to leave a lasting, godly influence on her children. Maybe you’re a man seeking purpose beyond paying the bills. You might be a single person that wants to do more than live for the weekends. You will only be able to reach these lofty heights by communing with God in prayer. For all who want to pray, David’s example shows us where to begin.
