Nick Bank has had the privilege of preaching and teaching the Bible regularly for the last 24 years. He has served as a Youth Pastor, Worship Pastor, Preaching/Teaching Pastor, and is now serving as the Lead Pastor of PassageWay Church. Along with a Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministry & Bible from Grace University, he holds a Masters degree in Theology (Th.M.) from Dallas Theological Seminary, and is a certified graduate teacher with the Evangelical Training Association. His passion is for people to come to know Jesus, and apply His truth to everyday life.
Pastor Nick and his wife Kellie have been married for 15 years, and have two beautiful young children. Nick enjoys spending time with his family, writing literature and music, hiking, barbecue, and baseball.
Curt Isaacson serves PassageWay Church as Worship & Associate Pastor. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in instrumental & vocal education and worked as a choral conductor for nine years before entering ministry vocationally. He’s led worship since 1998 and has a passion for “homemade worship by handmade people” (to use a phrase from his favorite worship band, Rend Collective). He enjoys incorporating unique, and often homemade instruments into the worship experience, many of which reflect the way God remakes & uses us in surprising ways that defy who we were, for His glory.
Pastor Curt has been married for 16 years to his wife Megan, who serves PassageWay in women’s ministry and the media arts. They have two adventurous kids and love to create, drink coffee, hike, snowshoe, kayak, and explore God’s creation as a family.
Ministries Connection Pastor
Andy Petersen serves PassageWay Church as Ministries Connection Pastor, desiring to equip and serve people so they can equip and serve others. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies and Intercultural Studies, and served as a missionary doing ministry with junior and high school students for 11 years. He has overseen ministries for children, students, and outreach, and has a desire for people to be able to come to God as they are, with all their questions or insecurities, to be able to rest together.
Pastor Andy and his wife Robyn have been married for 15 years and have 4 fun, enthusiastic young children. Andy loves to laugh, learn new things, play games, watch movies, and travel to places new and old. Andy does not love mowing or grilled cheese.
Children's Ministry Coordinator
Heidi Wood is delighted to serve as PassageWay Church’s Children’s Ministry Coordinator. She has a heart for ministering not only to the needs and spiritual growth of children, but also caring for the entire family.She has worked with children in multiple capacities over the past six years, including being a Preschool Teacher. She also has a passion for dogs and horses and has experience in the veterinary field, having assisted both small animal and equine veterinarians.
In addition to spending time with her family, Heidi loves being outdoors as much as possible with her Yellow Labrador, riding horses and jet skiing at the lake.
Zach Hall has been involved in youth ministry, in various capacities for the last eight years. Currently he is enjoying the privilege of serving as Youth Director at PassageWay Church. He has also served as the Ministry Leader of Celebrate Recovery for a two year term in 2012-2014. He has a Bachelors degree in Public Relations from Northwest Missouri State University. He is on the final year of his Master's Degree in Christian Ministry and Leadership from Hope International University. Zach has a passion for helping people thrive in their life with Jesus Christ and not just survive their life in the world.
Zach and his wife Erika have been married for two years and have one amazing little girl. Zach likes fishing, eating BBQ and other outdoor recreation activities. He hates pickles, mayonnaise and math.
Cheryl Penner serves as the Office Administrator for PassageWay Church. Cheryl earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Grace University, and worked for 8 years as Administrative Assistant with the U.S. Department of the Treasury, prior to spending 20 years raising four children while doing part-time clerical and legal work from home. Cheryl desires for others to know and understand the immeasurable love and care that God has for them, and for every detail of their lives.
Cheryl and her husband Dan have been married for 28 years, and love spending time with their four children camping, playing board games, and laughing together.
